The Almenland as a fine, small winter destination is ideal for skiing beginners, beginners and returners. A total of three small skiing areas between Teichalm and Sommeralm invite you to ski in the Almenland Nature Park. You can reach the lifts in about 35 minutes by car from JUFA Hotel Weiz***s.
Both sporty skiers and families are in good hands at the Teichalm. There is even a black slope, on the other side, the two magic carpets at the family lift ensure that families with smaller children also have fun. The Holzmeister lifts offer the sunniest slopes – in addition to two surface lifts, there is also a baby lift. The Pirstingerkogel lift is also ideal for families and the toboggan run rounds off the offer.
The two ski schools offer their courses at the Teichalm lifts, the Holzmeister lifts and the Pirstingerkogel lift. Especially the very young ski bunnies are in good hands here.
The JUFA Hotel Weiz***s, built in 2020, is the ideal starting point for a relaxing winter vacation. A two-story indoor children’s play area and a 300m² wellness area on the top floor with a fantastic view of the basilica on the Weizberg hill invite you to feel good.
Winter excursions to the Weizer sheep farmers, to the Herberstein animal world or to the thermal spa country are great alternative excursions.
And the best: The ski pass is already included in the price for the entire stay!
