Adventure region Graz in summer
Variety and adventure are very important in Graz. The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, impresses with its historical charm and modern vibrancy. Whether it’s a visit to the “friendly alien” aka Art museum, a medieval excursion to the Zeughaus, a curious city tour with the night watch or a leisurely walk to the clock tower on the Schlossberg – the variety is inexhaustible. Where the city boasts cultural highlights, the region around Graz scores with lush nature and numerous outdoor experiences. The picturesque vineyards, the “local mountain” Schöckl or the surrounding lakes invite you to explore by bike or on foot. Gourmets and connoisseurs can enjoy culinary highlights such as Styrian pumpkin seed oil and first-class wine.
