Central Carinthia & Nockberge in summer
The Nockberge, located in the heart of Carinthia, enchant with their characteristic dome-shaped peaks and lush alpine meadows. At its center lies the Nockberge Biosphere Park, which combines sustainable regional development with nature conservation to create a unique natural experience. Numerous hiking trails, such as the Nockalmweg, traverse the diverse flora and fauna. For those interested in culture, a visit to Hochosterwitz Castle is highly recommended. Perched majestically on a 160-meter-high dolomite rock, the castle not only impresses with its fascinating architecture but also offers spectacular views over the Carinthian landscape. The former state capital, St. Veit an der Glan, invites visitors to stroll through its historic city center, which features charming, well-preserved buildings from various eras.
Mountain biking at Nockberge
Single trails are the icing on the cake. At least for mountain bikers! An attractive downhill, of which there are certainly enough in Carinthia, Austria’s southernmost state, makes bikers’ hearts beat faster! Once you’ve caught the flow fever, you won’t be able to let it go so soon.

Golfing at Nockberge
Nestled in the gentle alpine world of the Nockberge, Carinthia’s highest golf course, the Golfarena Bad Kleinkirchheim, is characterized by varied fairways and wide fairways. The 18-hole course is approximately 20 minutes from the JUFA Hotel Hochrindl*** and offers all golf enthusiasts a breathtaking atmosphere and panorama on around 60 hectares.
