Snowshoeing in the Gesäuse National Park
Snowshoes make hiking easy even in winter. At the JUFA Hotel Schloss Röthelstein/Admont***, snowshoes can be hired from reception and the next tour can be started right outside the hotel door. This means that even non-skiers can enjoy their winter adventure on a snowshoe hike in the Gesäuse, regardless of whether it’s powder snow or hard snow.

Cross-country skiing in the Gesäuse
Perfectly groomed trails are available to you in the Gesäuse, such as the Hall cross-country skiing center. Awarded the “Styrian Cross-Country Skiing Seal of Quality” and with a length of 33.5 km, the trails offer perfect conditions for both classic cross-country skiing and trendy skating. There are even extra shower facilities for both leisurely and sporty cross-country skiers.
