Snowshoeing in the Mostviertel
Schneeschuhwandern mit Blick auf den Tirolerkogel oder den Ötscher sind in Annaberg ein Highlight. Auch in den Ybbstaler Alpen, genauer gesagt am Hochkar, hat das entspannte Schneevergnügen sein Revier. Einfache bis schwierige Tourenrouten sind hier zu finden und führen vom Tal auf den Hochkar. Falls man selbst keine Schneeschuhe besitzt, können diese auch vor Ort ausgeborgt werden.
Snowshoe hikes with views of the Tirolerkogel or the Ötscher are a highlight in Annaberg. The Ybbstal Alps, or more precisely the Hochkar, are also home to relaxed snow fun. Easy to difficult tour routes can be found here and lead from the valley to the Hochkar. If you don’t have your own snowshoes, you can hire them on site.

Cross-country skiing in the Mostviertel
The cross-country ski trail around the Hochmoor has a small 3km trail. There is also a small 3km loop at the foot of the Hochkar-Alpenstraße in Lassing near Göstling (suitable for both techniques). Perfectly groomed trails with wonderful views of the Hochschwab and Ötscher invite you to enjoy cross-country skiing in a breathtaking winter landscape. Beginners and pros can train their stamina and technique on the Lassingtal-Joachimsberg trail and the Annaberg trail.
Short & sweet: 35 kilometers of trails or 5.4 kilometers of trails / classic cross-country skiing & skating
