In summer, the Hohe Tauern National Park is the ultimate destination for hiking and climbing routes that lead through nature and past impressive waterfalls such as the Krimml Waterfalls. The Pinzgau region not only impresses with its scenic beauty, but also with its rich cultural heritage. The annual Pinzgau Customs Festival keeps traditional dances, costumes and customs of the region alive. There are also numerous historical buildings, such as Kaprun Castle, which provide a deep insight into the history of the Pinzgau.

Golfing in Pinzgau
The Zell am See-Kaprun Saalbach Golf Club offers a unique playing experience on two 18-hole courses, on the Schmittenhöhe and at the Kitzsteinhorn. Both courses provide golf enjoyment for everyone, and the JUFA Hotel Kaprun offers the perfect home base just 5 minutes away.
The mountain river Saalach winds its way through the challenging 18-hole course of the Golf Club Gut Brandlhof in Salzburg. Additional highlights of this premium golf course include a spacious driving range and practice areas for pitching, putting, and bunker play.
