Snowshoeing in Schladming-Dachstein
Extensive snowshoe hikes with rustic refreshment stops and winter views of the Riesneralm or the surrounding mountains in the Donnersbachwald region are a classic in winter. In Schladming, too, there are tours of varying levels of difficulty and altitudes, and everyone gets their money’s worth. In addition to being the highest ski village in Styria, the Planneralm is also known as a snowshoe region. The snow-covered plateau offers wintry views of the Plannerkessel and Plannersee.

Cross-country skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein
Ramsau at the foot of the Dachstein is one of the top destinations for cross-country skiing in Austria. Discover the beautiful landscapes and hit the trails where famous cross-country skiers such as Alois Stadlober, Christian Hoffmann, Markus Gandler and Mikhail Botvinov won the gold medal at the Nordic World Championships with the Austrian relay team in 1999.
