The brewers’ city Murau is located directly on the banks of the river Mur, immersed in the beautiful landscape of the Mur valley. Getting there
Aus Richtung Norden/Süden kommend: A 10 Autobahnausfahrt „St. Michael im Lungau“ – nach dem Mauthäuschen rechts Richtung St. Michael fahren – am Ortsende links Richtung Tamsweg – in der Ortschaft Mauterndorf vor der Unterführung rechts in Richtung Tamsweg/Murau fahren – immer gerade aus. Nach der Ortstafel Murau – beim 1. Kreisverkehr (Rantenkreuzung) rechts abbiegen, der Schwarzenbergstraße Richtung „Hauptplatz“ (Schillerplatz) folgen, den Hauptplatz überqueren, Ausfahrtsstraße nach dem Hauptplatz (Lichtensteinstraße) folgen, links abbiegen (Bahnhofstraße), über die Brücke fahren, am Postamt vorbei, Schleife nach rechts in die Friesacherstraße – an den Gleisen entlang fahren – der Beschilderung folgen – am „Friesacher Tor“ gerade aus und nach 100m rechts abbiegen zum St. Leonhardplatz.
Aus Richtung Osten/Süden kommend: Von Judenburg bzw. Neumarkt kommend in Scheifling in Richtung Murau abbiegen. In St. Egidi beim ersten Kreisverkehr links abbiegen, dem Straßenverlauf in Richtung Bahnhof der Friesacherstraße folgen – an den Gleisen entlang fahren – der Beschilderung folgen – am „Friesacher Tor“ gerade aus und nach 100m rechts abbiegen zum St. Leonhardplatz.
