The JUFA Hotel Laterns***s, opened in 2021, welcomes you to the westernmost state of Austria at approximately 1000 meters above sea level. Located just 15 minutes’ drive from Rankweil and at the foot of Furkajoch, this picturesque region awaits you as a true hiking paradise. Whether exploring in and around Laterns-Thal, Üble Schlucht, Innerlaterns-Kühboden, Laterns Bonacker, or Bad Laterns – there are fantastic circular hikes to discover everywhere. Another highlight is the 2004-meter-high summit of “Hoher Freschen.”

Our JUFA Hotel is located right next to the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift Gapfohl, making it the perfect starting point to explore the region. Here you’ll also find a summer toboggan run, a playground, a bouncy castle, a mini golf course, and the opportunity to rent E-bikes/bikes. Highly recommended is the hike or alternatively the ride with the chairlift to Tipiberg. There awaits a natural adventure playground for the kids and the Falba Stuba for a well-deserved break.
