Hiking is particularly good on the Riesneralm summer mountain in Donnersbachwald! Enjoy the magnificent view of the region’s mountains, explore nature on the summit barefoot trail or take the children on a Krispini treasure hunt.
Other highlights include the animal wood park with oversized animals made of wood, the Hochseesitz and the summit baths of yesteryear. Take a leisurely hike from the summit to the Oxenalm and sweeten the view with regional hut delicacies. Further hiking tips and the daily Rauszeit snack to take away, including a Rauszeit snack box, are also available at the JUFA Hotel.
Nature lovers will also get their money’s worth on the nearby Planneralm. Whether it’s a hike to one of the numerous mountain peaks, a gourmet tour to the nearby mountain pine distillery or a herb hike (also possible with an expert guide on request) – variety is guaranteed.
