With 850 hours of sunshine, Nassfeld is the perfect ski resort for foggy and gray winters

That doesn’t just sound like a lot, it actually is a lot – especially when you compare it to other ski resorts. Because in the neck-and-neck race for sunshine, Nassfeld clearly wins with a plus of around 100 hours of sunshine compared to its Alpine competitors north of the Alps. While the spring flowers are sprouting down in the valley, the sunshine skiing up on the mountain provides a different kind of splash of color. There, the red umbrellas of the ski bars are in bloom. Further over, the yellow sun loungers on the sun terrace glow.

From March onwards, Nassfeld is transformed into a single sunny pleasure area. To match: Lots of chilled events that create a sunny atmosphere on the mountain. Whether it’s the “Sound of Wine”, the “Nassfeld Mountain Alpenparty” or the Nassfeld Easter egg hunt for the little ones – in spring, the Sun Ski World is a hive of activity.
