Ausseerland has plenty to offer winter sports enthusiasts. The Loser and Tauplitzalm ski areas can be easily reached by car from Bad Aussee or Grundlsee in around 20 minutes.

The JUFA Hotel Altaussee*** is located directly on the slopes of the Loser ski area and makes children’s hearts beat faster, as there is a new indoor playground in the hotel with a 150m² play area and climbing area. The ski pass can also be redeemed in other ski areas in Schneebärenland (Riesneralm, Planneralm, Kaiserau).
