1,000 km of hiking trails and 240 km of biking routes lead through Parc Ela, the largest natural park in Switzerland. If you want to dive headfirst into the fun, you should certainly plan a day of swimming at the cool Lai Barnagn (within walking distance from the JUFA Hotel).

In winter: from the slopes to the hotel

The ski areas of Savognin (80 km of trails) and Bivio (30 km of trails) are ideal for families with children and carving enthusiasts.

An added plus: Ski-in/ski-out. Take the slopes back to the hotel without having to remove your skis.

Kick off your skiing adventure right outside the hotel door – the valley station of the Savognin mountain railroad (80 kilometers of trails) is quickly reached on foot.

Want to enjoy the winter season off the slopes? Then explore the roughly 60 km of winter hiking trails, the diverse cross-country skiing routes or whizz down into the valley on the numerous toboggan runs. In Bivio, a true ski touring paradise welcomes you. Or let yourself be tempted onto the ice between the villages of Bad Alvaneu and Surava. In winter, the hiking trail is transformed into a skating track.
