Then it’s time to shift down a gear.

That’s easy to do when you feel the wind on your face as the landscape starts to pass by. On the Mur Bike Path or Enns Bike Path, on long-distance bike paths, on multiple day, multiple stage tours, it’s time to leave it all behind you.

Don’t worry, your bags are already on their way—luggage transport is available on the Mur Bike Trail. You’re finally free of all burdens!

Why brake when you’re already well on your way? Start out on a multiple day bike trip. The JUFA Hotels along the road are expecting you.

Here’s where you can escape your daily routine for several days:

On the road on EuroVelo 14

The nearly 740 kilometers of EuroVelo 14 connect Austria and Hungary: from Zell am See in Salzburger Land through Styria and Burgenland to Lake Balaton and the Budapest area.

Traunviertel tour

The route is well marked and mostly on state bike paths, leading from Steyr Valley through Krems Valley and Alm Valley to Gmunden on Lake Traun, then further to the foothills of the Alps in Bad Hall, to the romantic city of Steyr and into the Enns Valley, through Reichraminger Hintergebirge and Kalkalpen National Park into the Pyhrn-Priel region, and then back to Steyr.

BergeSeen E-Trail

Featuring scenic views, the BergeSeen E-trail is an unforgettable challenge organized into ten stages. With hiking pins, ambitious e-mountain bikers can mark their success and leisurely bikers can hold onto memories.

Mur Bike Trail

The Mur Bike Trail is probably the most varied river bike trail in the Alps. It originates in the Lungau region of Salzburg in Hohe Tauern National Park.

We like rainy days too!

Weather report? It certainly can’t spoil your mood while you’re at a JUFA Hotel. No matter if it’s raining or sunny, boredom is not allowed. Small bundles of energy can really let off steam
in colorful play areas, at large indoor playgrounds, and on climbing walls.

Boulder wall, cinema, sauna, wellness, or bowling—each JUFA Hotel has its own individual array of indoor activities.

Enns Bike Path

Demanding and interesting, the Enns Bike Path leads nature enthusiasts through the states of Salzburg, Styria, and Upper Austria. The Enns Bike Path is surely one of the most scenic cycling routes in the Alps.

Tauern Bike Path

The Tauern Bike Path runs through Salzburg and Upper Austria—an enjoyable tour that features great rivers and cultural and culinary specialties. Over more than 300 kilometers, it unites magical places like the mighty Krimml Waterfalls or the mystic Hohe Tauern mountains with cultural highlights like Salzburg, the home of Mozart, or the salt mines in Hallein-Bad Dürrnberg.

Alpe Adria Trail

The 410 kilometer-long Alpa Adria Trail is an unforgettable experience. Starting in Salzburg, the home of Mozart, spend a week biking through Hohe Tauern National Park to Carinthia. Cross Austria’s border into Italy until you reach the Adriatic Sea in the sunny south.

Lake Constance Bike Path

Spend your vacation biking at Lake Constance and discover the three countries that surround the lake on a cycling tour. The 273 km long, mostly flat bike path leads you around the lakeshore past beautiful places and tons of tourist attractions.

Where you can taste the enjoyment

Shift down a gear before you run out of fuel

Feel the wind on your face as the landscape starts to pass by—thanks to your own muscle power or effortlessly on an e-bike. You roll right through vineyards. Past meadows. Along rivers. Enjoy the view of hilly vineyards, forests, and rolling hills. It’s not just on an e-bike that the world can be explored effortlessly!

It pays to leave the beaten path.

Not just because of the many tourist attractions along the bike path. A fortifying snack in a wine tavern tastes better after a day trip.

It also pays to make a culinary stop at one of the many regional suppliers of JUFA Hotels. If you prefer to keep racking up kilometers instead of resting, don’t worry—enjoyment won’t fall by the wayside. Keep an eye out for the delicious “Von hier” products at the JUFA Hotels breakfast buffet that have been supplied by local producers.

Whether you pick and choose which stages you’d like to follow from the bike tours presented above or go on day trips in the culinary regions listed below:

The main thing is to let the good times roll!

A number of inns and wine taverns (Buschenschänke) on this tour are pleasant places to stop and get something to eat or drink.

Stage after stage, the circular tour leads through hilly vineyards and the wine roads of Southern Styria, Eastern Styria, Styrian Thermal Spa Country, and Styrian Volcano Land.

Gourmet Cycling Special in Allgäu

On two wheels through Hörnerdörfer—this is probably the best way to explore the wonderful nature of the Allgäu Alps. No matter if you are with family or with friends, it’s important to take time to break out of your daily routine and open your eyes. This brochure provides ideas and tips for great tours in the region.

Through the nothern Black Forest

Leisurely tours of wine villages or in river valleys, time trials with a racing bike group: In the Black Forest vacation region, a bicycle is both an excellent means of transportation and a piece of sports equipment. The Southern Black Forest Cycle Route is 264 kilometers long and runs through the Southern Black Forest Nature Park. The route is perfect for leisurely bikers.
