The hotel stands at 1,500 metres right on the slopes of the Hochkar ski area, around 17 kilometres above Göstling an der Ybbs in the Mostviertel. The VOR bus stop is about 200 metres away, and bus MO13 runs from Göstling station (10 kilometres) to the hotel.

Eating and drinking

The restaurant seats 110, or 215 with the side rooms and the small dining room. There is also the café with a sun terrace and the Stüberl.

Guests who are not staying at the hotel are welcome: breakfast costs €13.50 for adults and €8.00 for children, the evening buffet €17.50 for adults and €10.00 for children.
