If you arrive by public transport (bus or train), you can be picked up from the bus stop in Saig by prior arrangement with the hotel.
The Black Forest is easily accessible from all directions with fast long-distance connections. The Rhine Valley can be reached from both Frankfurt in the north and Basel in the south and is served by numerous ICE and even TGV connections. From the west, there are connections to the French SNCF network, and from the south to the Swiss Federal Railways. You can travel inexpensively with the Deutsche Bahn saver fares and the KONUS guest card, which allows you to travel for free on public transport throughout the Black Forest.
