At 1,050 meters above sea level, the JUFA Hotel Schwarzwald*** is located in the idyllic place of Saig in the beautiful Black Forest. The JUFA Hotel Schwarzwald*** has 38 rooms with comfy furnishings, a wellness area with Finnish sauna, steam bath, whirlpool and infrared cabin, and an indoor swimming pool with panoramic views. The recreation room with table football, table tennis, and bowling alley provides lots of action-packed entertainment.

In winter, the illuminated toboggan run leading from Saig to Lake Titisee is a true highlight. Skiers and snowboarders will appreciate the slopes of the nearby Feldberg, which offers 30 kilometers of trails for a memorable experience for the whole family. People who prefer a more leisurely pace can explore the 30 kilometers of cross-country ski trails in Lenzkirch.

The hotel in Saig
The hotel stands at 1,050 metres in Saig, part of Lenzkirch, between Lake Titisee, Lake Schluchsee and the Feldberg, the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg.
- 38 rooms with 84 beds, from single rooms to a superior suite for six people
- Indoor pool with a panoramic view, plus a sun terrace and hotel bar
- Games room with a bowling alley, table football and table tennis
- For families: cots, high chairs in the restaurant, a play corner indoors and a playground outside
- Dogs are welcome all year round, surcharge and available rooms on request
- Reception open from 8 am to 8.30 pm, Wi-Fi in the lobby, the rooms and outdoors
- The hotel’s own parking spaces, six of them covered, all subject to a charge, plus a coach parking space
- Bicycle garage with a lockable space and charging for e-bikes, certified as a Bett+Bike hotel
- There is a lift, but no accessible rooms. The bowling alley, indoor pool, sauna, balconies and playroom cannot be reached by wheelchair

Sauna, steam bath and indoor pool
Wellness area
The wellness area has a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a relaxation room. The indoor pool sits behind a glass front looking out over the Black Forest, and massages are available on request.
Guests who are not staying at the hotel can use the sauna too. All it takes is half an hour’s notice.
Food and drinks
In the Hochfirststube and the Sonnhaldenstube our kitchen cooks with produce from the businesses listed further down. The restaurant seats 90 and can be divided into three areas.
- Breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 10.30 am
- Evening buffet from 6 to 8 pm
Guests who are not staying at the hotel are welcome at both meals. When the weather is fine the panorama terrace looks out over the Black Forest, with coffee and cake.

Getting there
Coming from Stuttgart: South towards Wildparkstraße – Take the B14 – Continue on the A831 – Then take the A81 – At exit 37-Dreieck Bad Dürrheim take the A864 towards Freiburg/Donaueschingen/ U56 – Continue on the A864 – Use the left lane to take the B27/B33 towards Freiburg/ Schaffhausen/Donaueschingen/ U56 – Take the B31 to Hochfirstweg in Lenzkirch.
Coming from Munich: Take the A96 southwest to Geisingen – Take exit 38-Geisingen on the A81 – Continue on the A96 – At exit 3 – Sigmarszell take the B308/B31 towards Scheidegg/Airport – Turn right onto the B31 – Continue on the B31n – Continue on the A98 towards Stuttgart/Singen/ Stockach- West – At interchange 11-Kreuz Hegau use the right lane and follow signs for A81 towards Stuttgart/Villingen-Schwenningen – Take exit 38-Geisingen onto B31/B311 towards Geisingen/Freiburg/Tuttlingen/Immendingen – Follow B31 to Lenzkirch.
Coming from Bregenz: Start from Römerstraße/B190 to the west – turn left onto Römerstraße/B190 – turn left onto Josef-Huter-Straße – take the 1st exit at the traffic circle. If you arrive by public transport (bus or train), you can be picked up from the bus stop in Saig by prior arrangement with the hotel.
The Black Forest is easily accessible from all directions with fast long-distance connections. The Rhine Valley can be reached from both Frankfurt in the north and Basel in the south and is served by numerous ICE and even TGV connections. From the west, there are connections to the French SNCF network, and from the south to the Swiss Federal Railways. You can travel inexpensively with the Deutsche Bahn saver fares and the KONUS guest card, which allows you to travel for free on public transport throughout the Black Forest.
