The JUFA Hotel Laterns***s is located directly in the Laterns-Gapfohl ski area. With over 27 kilometers of slopes, two chairlifts, and two T-bar lifts, the ski area is perfect for families. In addition, the ski school, magic carpet, and practice lift at Tipiberg provide everything young skiers need for their first slope experience. Your skis are safely stored in one of the two ski rooms with ski boot heaters.
For those who prefer winter activities off the slopes, you can enjoy ski touring, snowshoeing, or exploring nature on a winter hike. Additionally, the four-kilometer-long natural toboggan run provides fun and entertainment. You can get the necessary equipment at the Herbert ski rental shop directly at the valley station.
The Laternsertal valley is known far beyond the Austrian borders for its sound wood or tone wood, a high-quality wood for instrument making.

Getting there
Coming from Salzburg/Munich/Lindau: Take the A14 Rheintalautobahn and exit at Klaus. At the end of the exit, turn right onto Treietstraße. At the roundabout, take the third exit (Vorarlberg Str./B190) and follow B190. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Treietstraße. Follow Laternserstraße L51 to Innerlaterns, then turn left onto Liftstraße, followed by Hofstraße until Kühboden – the JUFA Hotel will be on the right side.
Coming from Innsbruck/Vienna/Graz: Take the A12, pass through the Arlbergs/Arlbergtunnels, continue on S16 and A14 to the exit Feldkirch-Nord/Rankweil. Take the exit and at the end, turn right onto Langgasse/Räterstraße until Churer Straße. Follow Alemannenstraße and then Laternserstraße L51 to Innerlaterns. Turn left onto Liftstraße in Innerlaterns, then follow Hofstraße until Kühboden – the JUFA Hotel will be on the right side.
There are parking spaces for cars and buses available at the hotel for a fee (€8/night). Free parking spaces are located three minutes’ walk from the hotel.
There are excellent train connections to Rankweil train station. From there, you can take Landbus 65 (see also the timetable of Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg) for approximately 30 minutes to the final stop, Innerlaterns Schilift. From there, it’s a 2-minute walk directly to the JUFA Hotel.
