In the 400 m² indoor adventure play world, kids climb across two floors, and outside there is a playground and a fun court. The Tunnelwelten, the adventure museum about the Brenner Base Tunnel, are attached directly to the hotel. The valley station of the Bergeralm cable car is right next to the hotel.

Bärenbachl water and adventure world
Up on the Bergeralm you will find the Bärenbachl water and adventure world with water play stations, the Bärentraum restaurant and a sun and lake terrace. The guest card gives you a reduced cable car fare. There is no swimming there.

St. Magdalena just 10 minutes’ drive away
Climbing and via ferratas
The St. Magdalena via ferrata ends at a mountain chapel with an all-round view of the Alps. There are also the Peter Kofler via ferrata and the Stafflacherwand via ferrata, plus climbing crags in St. Magdalena, in Obernberg and at the Bremer Hütte. If the weather turns, the hotel has its own climbing and bouldering hall.

Getting there
From Innsbruck, take the Brenner Motorway (A13, toll road) or the Brenner Federal Road (B182) to Steinach. In the center of Steinach (before Raika Wipptal-Steinach – a large yellow building), turn right and follow the signs for ‘Zu den Bergbahnen’ (To the mountain railways). After about 200 meters, you will reach the JUFA Hotel Wipptal***.
Free parking is available for cars and buses.
Steinach Train Station – also a stop for express trains! Excellent, regular train connections from Steinach to Innsbruck and back. The walking time to the JUFA Hotel Wipptal*** is 15 minutes.
For more detailed information on arrival options using public transportation, visit the websites of ÖBB and WESTbahn.
Upon presentation of the Wipptal Guest Card, you will receive free public transportation tickets in the Wipptal region. The journey from Innsbruck or Brenner is also free with an arrival voucher (information available upon request).
