Historic Experience
When you visit us at Café & Restaurant Wandelhalle, you are also a guest at a historic site with a rich history!
The Wandelhalle was part of the former spa house, which opened in 1966. It offered drinking cures with magnesium-rich mineral water and carbonic acid baths, and also housed medical facilities.
In the Wandelhalle itself, it was important to keep moving during the drinking cures, as the saying went: “While drinking, you should neither sit nor stand, but walk.”
