Working at JUFA Hotels: A Great Place to Be
Our core value, “People First,” is now legally backed by our own collective agreement, making us pioneers in creating forward-thinking working conditions in the tourism industry.
Adapting to a Changing Work Environment
In collaboration with over 300 employees, we developed a collective agreement that prepares us for the future, ensuring we are ready for new work and lifestyle models.
What's new?
One JUFAverse – One Salary Scheme.
One company, 9 states, 1 collective agreement with many new benefits.
There’s More in It!
All employees receive a direct raise of €100 per month above the standard hospitality collective agreement.
Trained workers can look forward to significant salary increases after 2, 5, and 10 years, each amounting to €100 gross. For the first time, previous work experience is also being recognized for trained workers.
And Weekends?
We believe that working on the weekend should be compensated accordingly: all employees receive a 25% bonus for working on Sundays. At the same time, it’s important to us that everyone gets some time off, so our collective agreement guarantees one free weekend per month.
Dedication Pays Off
Untrained employees have the chance to move up to the skilled worker level through a combination of work experience and professional development, such as participation in the JUFA Hotels Talent Program.
Flexible Working?
We’ve reviewed and significantly improved options for flexible working hours with our new models.
Always Sweetening Holidays for Others? Time to Treat Yourself!
After 6 years of service, employees are rewarded with additional vacation days. After 15 years, the precondition to a 6th week of vacation is reached (normally this would only be achieved after 25 years).
Gen Z? Yes, Please!
We place great emphasis on the training and development of our apprentices. As part of these changes, apprentice wages have been significantly increased. And by the way, it doesn’t have to be just Gen Z – whether you’re Gen X or Y, it’s never too late to start an apprenticeship!
