In the Schilcherland
The hotel on Burgstraße
The hotel is on Burgstraße in Deutschlandsberg, a few minutes’ walk from the castle, with the Klause gorge right next door. The railway station is 1.7 kilometres away, about 20 minutes on foot.

- Accessible rooms in the main building and a lift, the annex cannot be reached by wheelchair
- Dogs are welcome all year round, surcharge and available rooms on request
- Free parking at the hotel, coach parking and two charging points for electric cars
- Wi-Fi in the lobby and the rooms
- E-bike hire, a lockable space and a washing point for bikes, ski room and drying room
- The Hietl outdoor pool around the corner is free for hotel guests in summer
- Reception Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm, Sundays and public holidays until 8 pm. Check-in from 4 pm, check-out until 11 am, on request and for a surcharge until 1 pm or 4 pm
Sauna, steam bath and fitness
Wellness area
The wellness and sauna area is currently being renovated and is expected to remain closed until mid-November.
It has a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a relaxation room with a terrace to the garden and fitness equipment. Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 2 to 9.30 pm, Sundays and public holidays from 12 noon to 7.30 pm. Wednesday is men only, Thursday women only, mixed on all other days. Guests who are not staying at the hotel can use the sauna too.

The restaurant seats around 150 in two dining rooms, and there is also the café and the wine bar.

Guests who are not staying at the hotel are welcome at breakfast and dinner.
Sporty adventures in Schilcherland
The JUFA Hotel Deutschlandsberg*** offers professional facilities for sports clubs, sports groups and training camps in Western Styria. Here, professional sports teams as well as hobby clubs will find ideal training conditions surrounded by picturesque vineyards.
The hotel’s own one-court sports hall, the cardio, weights and spinning room in the hotel and the numerous opportunities and sports facilities in the surrounding area make the JUFA Hotel the perfect home base for sports enthusiasts!

Getting there
from Germany, via Salzburg or Passau: Via the A9 – through the Plabutsch tunnel (Graz) – direction Klagenfurt A2 – exit Lieboch, on the B76 – direction Stainz to Deutschlandsberg. (From Graz to Deutschlandsberg 38 km, about 40 minutes). Once in Deutschlandsberg, take the second roundabout, turn right at the roundabout in the direction of the town centre (Zentrum). At the roundabout Zentrum – take the third exit – ZENTRUM. Keep to the right, drive through the beautifully designed centre of Deutschlandsberg and drive straight ahead. After the Town Hall, you will pass art nouveau villas, drive over a railway embankment and after about 500 meters when you see a sign to the Burghotel Deutschlandsberg and JUFA Hotel, continue driving up the Burgstrasse. On the left you will see your JUFA hotel after a few minutes.
From Graz main station you can reach Deutschlandsberg station with the regional train lines S6 or S61.
From the station we recommend a transfer to the hotel with the WEINmobil Südsteiermark.
