South Styrian Wine Country Nature Park
Wine route, Klapotetz and Buschenschank
The South Styrian Wine Route, the best-known wine route in Styria, is lined with wineries, restaurants and Buschenschank taverns. The clattering Klapotetz scarecrows are part of the vineyards. Right on the border with Slovenia, a small road in a vineyard forms a heart shape, the Herzerlstraße. In Leutschach an der Weinstraße the climb through the Heiligengeistklamm gorge is worth it. Golfers reach the 36-hole Gut Murstätten course in 15 minutes by car.

The JUFA Hotel Leibnitz*** is located in Leibnitz directly next door to the Styrian Tennis Academy and the outdoor swimming pool. It can be quickly and conveniently accessed by car. Guests can make use of the free parking spaces just next to the hotel for cars and buses.
Coming from Vienna: Take A23 – Continue on South Autobahn/E59 – take E59 to Stangersdorf /Lang – take A9 exit 208-Lebring – L602, Jösserstraße, Langstraße, Sulmtal Str./B74 and Seggauberg to Altenmarkt in Leibnitz – the JUFA Hotel Leibnitz*** is on the right hand side

The WEINmobil South Styria runs daily from 10 am to 11.30 pm from the station to the hotel and to attractions in the districts of Leibnitz and Deutschlandsberg. Book your ride at least 90 minutes in advance.
